National Tribal Street Play Festival cum Drama Festival
The State Level Adi Yuva Street Play Festival was held on 11th July 2025 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The street play competition was organised by the Tribal Research Institute, Goa in association with the Directorate of Tribal Welfare under the scheme “Support to TRI.” The event was conducted as part of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
The inaugural function was graced by Shri Digambar Kamat, Hon’ble MLA of Margao Constituency, as the Chief Guest. Shri Dipak S. Desai, Director of Tribal Welfare, and Shri Sagar Gaude, Director of the Tribal Research Institute, Goa, were also present on the occasion.
Carmel College secured the first prize, while Gomantak Ayurveda College, Shiroda, won the second prize. The third prize was awarded to Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem. The consolation prize was won by Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola.
The competition was judged by Shri Sushant Nayak, Shri Deepesh Priolkar, and Shri Devidas Gaonkar.
