Street Plays across the State of Goa on issues concerning the Tribal in association with SS Angle Higher Secondary School Mashem Canacona

S. S. Angle Higher Secondary School is managed by Shri Nirakar Education Society, Mashem, Canacona organization and execution of 22 street play performances on tribal welfare on the occasion of Janjatiya Gourav Varsh across Goa.

These plays were an attempt to spread awareness on the cultural identity & and welfare schemes, reaching grassroots communities. This success would not have been possible without the vision, encouragement, and administrative support extended by the Department of Tribal Welfare and the Tribal Research Institute.

The programme covered locations such as Gaondongrim, Khotigao, Loliem-Polem, Agonda, Khola, Sristal, Piligao, Collem, Mollem, and Dharbandora, reaching tribal and rural communities through awareness-based performances. The street plays were organized at village panchayats, schools, local bus stands, government institutions, and public gatherings with the objective of spreading awareness on tribal welfare schemes, cultural identity, and social issues among grassroots communities.
