LOKOTSAV 2023

LOKOTSAV 23” was organized on 8th, 9th and 10th December, 2023 at Adarsh Gram, Poinguinim, Canacona-Goa. “LOKOTSAV” is an educational, socio-cultural, economical and sporting event. On this occasion the State of Goa organize different exhibitions based on Traditional Edible Tuber Fair, Traditional Food Culture, Traditional Medicine, Traditional locally grown vegetables & Edible tubers, Traditional Art & Craft Exhibition, Agriculture Machinery Exhibition, Agriculture Landscaping Crop Coat Farm, Science Project Exhibition etc.

The presentation of traditional folk dances like Fugdi, Dhalo, Golf, Kalshinach, Morulem, Dekni, Lamp Dance, Tonyamel, Godhemodni, Ranmale through NGO’s, Clubs, Mahila Mandals and SHG’s which are performed by both men and women bear a tradition of thousands of years characterised by innumerable form performed by and reflecting lifestyles, cultures and aspirations of different religions and castes of Goan society.

“LOKOTSAV 23” foresee participation from states like Gujrat, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam, Manipur & Himachal Pradesh giving it a magnitude of a National Level Festival.
