Janjatiya Manthan Shibir and Awareness Programme

TRI Goa, in association with the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Goa, organised the Janjatiya Manthan Shibir and an awareness programme on schemes under the Tribal Exchange Within State Project at Ravindra Bhawan, Margao, Goa.

The exchange programme was attended by elected members of Village Panchayats from the Kushavati district (which has more than 40% ST population), eminent tribal leaders from Goa, and beneficiaries of welfare schemes for STs in Goa, resulting in fruitful deliberations.

The Chief Guest for the programme was the Hon’ble Minister for Tribal Welfare, Goa, Dr. Ramesh Tawadkar, with Shri Ravindra Gaonkar, Chairman, Goa SC/ST Commission, and Shri Vasudev Mang Gaonkar, Chairman, Goa ST Finance and Development Corporation, as Special Invitees. More than 180 people participated in this event.
