Along with cultural events, the festival featured local cuisine and natural foods, attracting tourists and helping preserve village traditions.
Over 10,000 participants took part, making it one of the largest platforms of its kind in Goa. Traditional art forms like Ghumat Aarti, Fugdi, and Rangoli were given special focus, alongside modern creative activities. The Science Project Competition encouraged students to connect tribal knowledge with new ideas.
Street plays and elocution competitions highlighted issues such as tribal empowerment, environmental awareness, and women’s participation. These events also helped young participants build confidence and leadership skills. Winners were honoured on stage in front of large audiences, adding to the excitement and sense of achievement. The state-level competitions at ADI LOKOTSAV 25 showcased the talent of Goa’s youth while continuing the festival’s aim of preserving culture, promoting education, and supporting community development.
