Project Brief  

The project focuses on developing village-centric, participatory development frameworks for Cotigao, Netravali, Keri (Ponda), and Surla through comprehensive gap analysis and active community engagement. It aims to address key socio-economic and environmental challenges by identifying critical gaps and prioritizing need-based interventions. The initiative emphasizes the design and implementation of integrated tribal development plans by ensuring effective convergence of Central and State Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) resources and government schemes. Through a community-led approach, the project seeks to enhance livelihoods, improve access to entitlements, and promote sustainable development. Ultimately, it aspires to create inclusive and resilient model tribal villages with holistic growth.

Objectives  
  • To develop village-centric and participatory development frameworks for Cotigao, Netravali, Keri (Ponda), and Surla through comprehensive gap analysis and community engagement.
  • To design integrated tribal development plans by ensuring effective convergence of Central and State Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) resources and relevant government schemes.
  • To strengthen livelihoods, enhance access to social entitlements, and promote sustainable, inclusive development.
Expected Outcomes  
  • Enhanced livelihood opportunities and income generation through strengthened rural activities, leading to reduced distress migration. 
  • Improved access, awareness and enrolment in Central and State government schemes, ensuring last-mile delivery of entitlements to eligible tribal households.
  • Establishment of effective convergence mechanisms among various government programs, enabling coordinated individual and community-level development.
