Handholding support to the Tribal Artisans (production support , Marketing Support and Training on New techniques etc).

Objective:

• To impart the required support to the Tribal Artisans in order to be successful and motivated to keep the tradition alive.

Scope:

• The tribal artisans in the field of Bamboo crafts, Pottery, Kunbi products, tailoring, Ganesh Idol artisans etc will be identified and provided with production support, Marketing Support and Training on New techniques etc.

Target Population:

• Tribal artisans

Project Component:

• Purchase of equipments/material, logistic support in Marketing the products and Training Theory/Field visits.

Methodology:

• Artisans shall be identified through Department of Handicrafts, Textiles & Coir
• The need based assessment has to be undertaken.
• Training has to be provided as per the needs.
• Special focus should be on providing support to tribal artisans making Ganesh Idols

Expected Output/Outcomes:

• The tribal artisans have to be supported by way of training and assistance to Tribal Artisans.
